The Verth name and shield logo, this website and app, their design, text, illustrations, how-to videos, voice-overs and music, and the Verth software are owned by Umesh of Datarpur, District Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India and protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and other laws.
What you may do
- Use Verth for yourself, your family and your organisation under our Terms.
- Share links to Verth pages and videos, and quote small parts of our safety tips with credit to Verth, to help others stay safe.
- Read our source code on GitHub to check how Verth protects you, and report security problems as described in our security policy.
What you may not do
- Copy, re-publish, sell or build on Verth’s code, design, videos or content, or make a look-alike app or website, without written permission.
- Use the Verth name or logo in a way that suggests we made, support or endorse something we didn’t. Anyone claiming to be “Verth support” on a call or chat is a scammer.
Being able to see the code on GitHub does not give a licence to reuse it.
Other people’s work we use
- Fonts: Hind, Rozha One, Kalam and IBM Plex Mono, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- Software: Firebase JavaScript SDK, Tesseract.js and jsQR (Apache License 2.0), qrcode-generator and the Tesseract English language data (MIT License).
- Names of banks, companies, apps and government bodies (such as SBI, TCS, Paytm or Razorpay) belong to their owners. Verth mentions them only to warn people about scams that pretend to be them, or to name a service we use; this doesn’t mean they endorse Verth.
